Former Employee of Westchester County Healthcare Corporation Agrees to Pay $25,000 for Violating Public Officers Law

ALBANY — The State Commission on Public Integrity today announced that a former employee of the Westchester County Healthcare Corporation (WCHC) has agreed to pay $25,000 to settle charges that she violated the post-employment restrictions of the ethics law by illegally appearing before her former agency within two years of leaving State service.
A second former State employee also settled with the Commission, agreeing to pay $3,000 for violating the post-employment restrictions of the ethics law.
Marie G. DiMicco was a Supervisor of Pharmacy at WCHC. She was hired as a Clinical Pharmacist of Cardinal Health, Inc. and performed duties as a Cardinal employee at WCHC. She continued to do so even after informed that she was being investigated for violating the law.
Paul Wolfle, a former Examiner for the State Workers' Compensation Board, is paying $3,000 for appearing before his former agency as a representative of Gallagher Bassett of New York. Wolfle submitted six applications for workers' compensation insurance benefits for the company in 2007 within two years of leaving State service.
