1. What are the Commission's office hours?
The Commission's office is open from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on regular state business days.
2. How do you get a PDF Form?
If you do not want to file electronically, but have access to the Internet, you can download and print a PDF Form. ALL PDF FORMS ARE LOCATED ON THE COMMISSION WEBSITE UNDER FORMS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
3. What steps need to be taken when "PDF Forms" will not download?
If a PDF Form does not download correctly please go to the adobe.com website and check to make sure you have the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.

4. How do I obtain a form if I do not have access to the Internet?
Forms are available by calling the Commission's Office at 518-408-3976.
5. Who do you contact for a "Freedom of Information request"?
For information regarding Freedom of Information Law and making FOIL requests, see our Public Information Section at www.nyintegrity.org.
6. Is there another way to access "e-mail blast" when attachment will not upload?
All new and previous e-mail blasts are located on our website under Publications.
7. How do I get help for the Lobbyist On-Line Registration Application or the Financial Disclosure System?
Commission staff may be reached by telephone Monday thru Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at 518-408-3976.
8. Do I have to file on-line?
The Commission encourages all users to file on-line. Completing and submitting your forms on-line is quick, secure and convenient. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
9. How do I find out if a lobbyist, client or public corporation is registered?
The Commission has an on-line query entitled "Lobby Data" located on its website under Public Information. You can perform searches against our database as well as narrow down your results using numerous variables.
10. What is the process for viewing financial disclosure statements?
The form for public inspection of annual statements of financial disclosure is located under public information. The form may be mailed or faxed.
11. What is the procedure for filing a complaint with the Commission?
With regard to Lobbying issues, an individual may submit a letter, email or other communication, which contains the following information:
1. The name of the Lobbyist or Client involved in the alleged violation.
2. The nature of the act which serves as the basis of the complaint.
3. The name, address and telephone number of the individual making the complaint.
4. Dates, locations or any other known information, which may be relevant to the alleged violation.
On matters related to the State Ethics laws, an individual may submit a letter, email or other communication, which contains the following information.
1. The name of the State officer or employee or former State officer or employee
2. The nature of the act which serves as the basis for the complaint.
3. The name, address and telephone number of the individual making the complaint. The individual can also choose to remain anonymous.
4. Dates, locations or any other known information, which may be relevant to the alleged violation.
