In fact, she filed it almost 10 months late.</description>

	  <description>In a notice widely distributed via e-mail to lobbyists and their clients, as well as to State ethics officers today, the Commission on Public Integrity provided guidance on the legal issues surrounding legislative receptions, noting that financial penalties for future violations of the law will be higher than the penalties imposed this year.</description>

	  <description>The State Commission on Public Integrity has charged a former employee of the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) with violating the State Code of Ethics by allegedly soliciting the U.S. Department of Energy to fund a post-employment position for himself at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL). DOE holds a license from DEC for its operations at KAPL.</description>
